How often have you heard someone say that they are not good at something? Their language is that of identity, and includes phrases such as "I’m no good at………". And when I believe I am not good at something, then I have to continue to prove myself right.

When a client builds an image or metaphor of the limiting belief on a piece of paper, they can see it clearly in front of them, and from this new perspective conduct a dialogue with the limiting belief that helps them understand it more. And from there, the client can chose to move on to a more positive belief which ripples through to their whole sense of self.
